Business Website Implementation
A structured WordPress website build for businesses establishing, expanding, or transitioning their operations online.
Your website is your place of business online.
Whether you are launching a new company, adding an online component to an existing operation, or transitioning from brick-and-mortar to a fully online model, this engagement establishes the technical and structural foundation required to support that move.
This is not a design agency engagement. This is structured business implementation built on defined standards and ownership.
You define the direction.
We build the structure and hold accountability.
Who This Is For — Businesses Building or Transitioning Online
This engagement is for businesses that:
- Are establishing a professional online presence
- Are expanding into digital operations
- Are converting from brick-and-mortar to online
- Want ownership and long-term control
- Prefer structured implementation over experimentation
This is not intended for passive participation.
What This Engagement Includes
This is structured implementation built on the WordPress platform using the Divi framework.
It establishes a professional business website built on a foundational SEO structure, ownership control, and long-term operational stability.
Website Structure & Build
The website is built on WordPress using the Divi framework.
Base structure includes:
- WordPress installation and configuration
- Divi theme installation and layout framework
- Mobile-responsive design
- Navigation setup
- Global footer configuration
- Contact form configuration
- Business email connection and testing
- Blog functionality
Five core pages are created:
- Home
- Services or Products
- About
- Contact
- Blog
Core pages are built and in place before final content is delivered. Once structure is complete, you are not waiting on development.
During the initial build period, the Divi license may be provided under our agency license while waiting for a lifetime promotional price. The client is expected to purchase and maintain their own Divi lifetime license within twelve months of launch.
Additional pages, advanced integrations, or expanded functionality are addressed separately once the foundational build is complete.
SEO Foundation
Search engines must be able to properly index and understand your business website.
The site is configured with foundational technical and on-page SEO.
Technical SEO includes:
- Clean permalink structure
- XML sitemap generation
- Search engine indexing configuration
- Basic performance configuration
- Analytics integration
On-page SEO includes:
- Proper page titles and meta descriptions
- Structured heading hierarchy
- Image alt text formatting
- Foundational keyword alignment
- Basic internal linking structure
This engagement establishes technical search readiness and structural clarity for indexing. Search engine rankings depend on ongoing content development, competition, and consistency.
Rankings are not guaranteed.
Business Clarity (Required)
Business Clarity is required before website content is developed.
Business Clarity defines:
- Your offer
- Your audience
- Your positioning
- Your pricing structure
- The foundation for your Services and About pages
Without this foundation, there is no website.
If you are enrolled in the 8-Week Business Architecture program, Business Clarity is already addressed and does not need to be repeated.
If you are not enrolled in the 8-Week program, Business Clarity is completed as part of this engagement before content development begins.
Business Clarity defines your offer, audience, positioning, and pricing before content development begins. You can review the full Business Clarity framework for a complete explanation of that process.
Content Implementation
Content is organized and placed into the completed structure.
- Services or Products page is structured first
- About page follows
- Home page is framed from those two pages
- Sections aligned for consistency
- Calls to action placed intentionally
The client provides and approves all messaging.
The client is responsible for Home page content. The structure is framed, but messaging remains the responsibility of the business owner.
Content may be delivered in stages. As content is completed, it is uploaded and structured.
Blog Training
Once Business Clarity is completed and core pages are reviewed, blog training begins.
The client is responsible for:
- Choosing blog topics
- Determining content direction
- Writing titles
- Conducting research
- Creating and editing content
- Publishing posts
Artificial intelligence tools may be used.
We provide guidance on:
- Prompt structure
- Refining AI drafts
- Basic SEO formatting
- Foundational AEO considerations
We do not determine content direction.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for:
- Purchasing and renewing their domain (renewed annually)
- Purchasing and maintaining hosting
- Granting administrative access
- Providing brand assets
- Supplying content
- Responding in a timely manner
- Approving revisions
If the domain or hosting does not exist, we recommend a provider and guide setup. Hosting is typically recommended with an initial term of 3 to 5 years. Renewals occur at the provider’s standard rate.
No development begins until the required access and initial payment are received.
Timeline
The foundational build is typically completed within one week, assuming required access and assets are provided.
Content implementation proceeds as content is delivered.
You are not waiting on development once the structure is complete. Progress depends primarily on content delivery and approvals.
Delays in content delivery may extend the timeline.
Payment Structure
Payment may be made in full or in installments.
Installment arrangements result in a higher total investment.
The first payment is due at project start.
The second payment is due upon the start of content implementation.
All payments are non-refundable.
Commitment reflects preparation.
Ownership and Access
You own:
- Your domain
- Your hosting
- Your licenses
- Your website
You retain full administrative control and long term ownership.
This engagement operates under a Structured Ownership framework that defines responsibility clearly throughout the build.
Post-Launch Responsibility
After handoff, the client assumes responsibility for maintenance, updates, backups, security, and content management.
Corrective work for damage or modification is handled under a separate agreement.
Future Expansion
If additional pages, functionality, or integrations are required, expansion work is handled under a separate agreement.
If deeper strategic development becomes necessary, transition into the Business Architecture engagement may be recommended.
