Creating a Daily Method of Operations

You can create a Daily Method of Operations (DMO )whether you are working full-time or part-time. The time allotted is what makes the difference. Along with defining the allotted time, you will also have to apply your definition to each of the terms you are using.

Daily Method of Operations – Content

  • Income producing activities – activities that build your customer data base or team
    • Share business / product/service
    • Build relationships
    • Promote events –
      • video, brochures, conference calls
    • Content creation – this is for the online marketing,
      • Create a post for a blog per day
      • Do a video per day
      • Create an article
      • Combine these in different ways
    • Prospecting –
      • This is how you build your marketing business. A good reference book is Eric Worre’s Go PRO.
    • Practice Scripts/Presentations
      • Practice what you are going to say to people
        • It is similar to what is called your elevator speech your first introduction
        • when talking with prospects/leads to make an appointment
        • when presenting the product to potential customers
      • Personal Development/Personal Growth
        • reading personal development books, and blogs, attending network market training, webinars, and events
        • exercising, becoming more fit

Each of these items in the daily routine is important but each has a different time length.

Daily Methods of Operations – An example of time length

  • Income-producing activities – four and a half (4.5) hours
  • Practice Scripts / Presentations – one (1) hour
  • Personal Development – one and half (1.5) hours

If your network marketing business is your full-time income-producing activity, you should devote a full workday to these activities. If this work is currently part-time to supplement an existing income, adjust your time accordingly. Just remember, fortune favors the bold. The more aggressive you are with these activities the better your results will be. And don’t skip one group in favor of others, each set of activities is equally important.

Conclusion

Creating a Daily Method of Operations is easy. It is nothing more than a list of tasks you follow each day to conduct your business. The difficult part for many entrepreneurs is developing the discipline to follow it. If you got something out of this post or if you just want to engage (network), leave me a comment.
